In a listed, four-storey brick building at Lambertusstrasse 1 in Düsseldorf, CORPUS SIREO Real Estate GmbH is constructing 14 three-room and four-room apartments of between 96 and 184 square metres. The building has been extensively renovated and modernised both inside and out. This has allowed two lifts to be integrated into in the historic staircase and cars can be parked in private carports in the enclosed interior courtyard.
In addition, balconies, conservatories and terraces, which face south to the adjacent Düssel river, have been built for each apartment. The arched windows and ceilings up to 3.80 metres high characterise the interior of the building.
The façade has been restored in close cooperation with the heritage authorities and on site, plasterers have reproduced the decorations in elaborately detailed work.
