The "Cornelius Stiftung für Kinder suchtkranker Eltern" was established in 2001 by the Zimmer family and brought to life by CORPUS SIREO. The foundation's main aim is to take responsibility by supporting children from families affected by addiction and social deprivation, thereby giving them the chance of a better future.
The foundation's most significant aid project is the Cornelius-Haus in Cologne's city centre. The "clean living programme" set up by the foundation in 2005 takes in pregnant women and mothers suffering from addiction who would like to kick their habits – together with their children – and provides them with treatment for their addictions for up to 18 months.
The Cornelius Stiftung was founded for charitable purposes only and is recognised by the tax office as a non-profit organisation. Your contributions can also help enhance the prospects of children from families affected by addiction! With the Cornelius Stiftung, you can rest assured that the full amount of your donation will go towards the foundation's projects and its accompanying scientific work. All employees work on a voluntary basis and all the foundation's administrative costs are covered by CORPUS SIREO.
