By reinforcing its team and revamping its IT, CORPUS SIREO has positioned its asset management divisions, aligning them consistently with client requirements. This growth strategy derives its principal impetus from the experience gained by working for international investors. For the account of the latter, CORPUS SIREO currently has real estate with a gross lettable area of around 1.6 million square metres and a total value of approximately 4.2 billion Euros under management.

Since February 1, 2011, Michael Belau and Roy Brümmer have been the new managing directors of the Asset Management Commercial division. At the same time, Stefan Korthals joined the senior management in the Asset Management Residential division.
Thus, CORPUS SIREO appointed three seasoned managers from its own ranks to the senior management who will deliver continuity to their clients and who bring diversified long-term market experience in the real estate industry to the job.
Also reinforced was the senior management of the Luxembourg-based fund division. On March 1, 2011, Dr. Christian Schütz and Douglas Edwards joined the management of CORPUS SIREO Investment Management S.à r.l. to support their fellow managing director Uwe Druckenmüller in expanding the fund business and the development of new investment vehicles.
Dr. Christian Schütz will be responsible for the continued growth of the company on the German market. Douglas Edwards is in charge of expanding the business with international clients wishing to invest in Germany or require asset management solutions for existing real estate commitments.
The reinforcement of human resources has coincided with an upgrade of the IT systems. For one thing, the Immopac asset management software was customised for the purposes of CORPUS SIREO’s clients. This ensures that the investor requirements are directly addressed, and the property assets under management efficiently managed.
Especially when it comes to reporting, a state-of-the-art IT solution represents a genuine competitive advantage over smaller asset management outfits that often simply cannot afford extensive investment in information technology and human resources.
Ralph Günther, CEO of CORPUS SIREO Holding GmbH & Co. KG, comments: “By reinforcing our asset management units with industry professionals and simultaneously introducing our client-customised software, we have done our homework, and are entering the year before us with forward-looking confidence.”
